Anger as a Weapon vs. Anger as a Tool

I believe I have unique insight into anger because I would describe myself as "in relationship regularly" with anger. The energy of anger and I go way back. When I was 10 year's old, I threw all 25 of my 1980's troll dolls at the wall individually in a fit of anger. Last year, I threw a plastic hanger at the wall and put a 2 inch hole in it. In past lives, as I am told in my Akasha, I've had more than one crime of passion due to anger from perceived injustice. And even now, my husband speaks of a look I have in my eyes when I'm angry that's "scary." He doesn't doubt I could physically take down someone double my size if I was called to a duel, and in fact, he refuses to wrestle with me still today, for fun, out of fear I might turn red on him.  (Warning: vulnerability moment - these are all true stories) . The Feminine Phoenix A-Rising

The feminine phoenix is a powerful energy of sacred transmutation now emanating on this planet. So many beautiful souls have been transmitting this energetic shift for some time, and it’s important to start by expressing: all parts of what you have learned or observed about it, have been accurate . This is so because fragments of this special light shine through us differently, and as such this, feminine energy gets coded and downloaded within us in varying ways and capacities. This means that some aspects of the feminine phoenix are now expanding within us, whereas other aspects are already at their fullest expression. Which aspect and how much, is based on a lot of factors, namely our divine inheritance, karma, ancestry, willingness, and extent of open-heartedness. This is why we see the manifestation of the divine feminine expressing itself so differently in people. This article isn’t about what’s wrong or right, because invariably this writing, or my video on the feminine p...

Surrender is not Sloth

Recently in the Akasha, the guidance of surrender has been prevalent. I notice that when I utter the phrase "you are being asked by your guides to embrace the energy of surrender" a look of shock or anger gets reflected back at me. Gratefully, the Akashic Record teachers, specifically the Karmic Board, have given me a boost to address the reactions of clients that can't quite see how surrendering in a busy, conflictual, high urgency, fast moving world is a solution to their sense of overwhelm. I hear "but Candice, how do I accomplish all of these tasks, the clock is ticking on this decision. If I sit idle, things get worse." Still yet others who are in an active state of tug of war with family, relationships, businesses, and legal matters can't wrap their head around surrender either when it arises in the Akasha. I hear "I'm fighting for what's right, if I let go and give up someone will get hurt, or I'll lose money, be lost, or lose a ...

A New Take on Resistance to the Negative Vibe- Part 2 of 2

In the last blog we talked about how to work with others while in charged relationships, the value of doing the work, and why it's useful to a harmonious lifestyle. In this article, I'll go over how to navigate negativity stemming from community systems. But first, let's recap on what it means to cope with energetic resistance. Consider this from the first blog in this series:  How to Master Negative Energy in People: Part 1 of 2 : In the Akashic Record, guides and teachers have much to say about how we might show up curiously with negativity in a way that meets the following criteria:  engages from the highest possible place, while taking responsibility for our own karmic trigger point, without ignorance and avoidance, and yet not fueling the negativity by reacting to others' projections . Sound impossible? Want to know what inner resources you need to do this work? I would say it takes a  checked ego ,  open heart ,  courage , and  skillfulness  to...

How to Master Negative Energy from People- Part 1 of 2

"Negative" energy can mean many things... Some examples may be how others' treat you through words or action, systemic or environmental events that you perceive harm you, or supernatural interference such as lower vibrational spirit energy, or karma coming your way. Welcome to a 2 part blog series on navigating these very common "negative" experiences. This first one is about coping with other humans, something tells me now is a good time to talk about that. I would suggest you may be in disharmony with others' negative projections if you find yourself with some of these symptoms: fatigue, disgust, anger, racing thoughts, desire to prove or punish, fearful and protective of others perceived power over you, lingering or nagging emotion after another's bad behavior, lashing out dramatically, or running away and cutting people off impulsively. Sound familiar? In the Akashic Record, guides and teachers have much to say about how we might show up curious...

Present-Focused Joyfulness!

During this season I always attempt to lean into the beauty of intentional action and reflection. While collective and community spirit is abound, there's no lack of information and support out there for anxiety reduction, gift-giving, cooking, and gratitude cultivation (and the list goes on) This post is about the one thing you need in order to maximize and fully drink in the power of connection:  present-mindedness. I offer you guidance in how to really dig into the magnificence around you, so that every moment you encounter can be wholly received. Often, we are passengers to our own lives just hurrying through with a task list. This is no way to live joyfully, rather, we live to accomplish versus living for the joy of living. It's not about doing, it's about being. Consider this quote,  "If I chase it, I separate into the chaser and the chased. If I am it, I am it and nothing else."  -John Lilly. Whatever this holiday season brings you, allow it to be ful...

14 Ways to Make Medicine out of Suffering

Buddha transmuting arrows of illusion into flowers We have a wisdom within our being that is waiting to be born, savored and shared. It's a historic and seemingly forgotten knowingness of the God source within combined with the nectar of our unique experiences. When you incarnate, you often forget this wisdom because the veil of our dense human experience masks the truth. But it's in you. I have called this before "your special sauce" but it's really your antidote to suffering. This wisdom is the divine recipe formulated by the unique road we have traveled- the past lifetimes we have lived, the skills we have honed, the pain we have endured- all equates to awareness that informs our purpose on this planet. That medicine is the remedy or the antibody of our current suffering and also what we are meant to teach and impart to others . Rumi says it like this:  "the wound is the place where light enters you."  Essentially, once we overcome a hardship...
